We have been spoiled by Sprout's Farmer's Markets in Arizona and I am wondering where is the best organic veggie and meat market near Victoria Woods in Riverside? Thanks. I love Trader Joe's but they lack an adequate selection of meat.

Not sure where "Victoria Woods" is... but there's a Sprouts in Riverside.

Store #210

Yeah Sprouts has a great selection of meat. I was hanging at the one in Corona yesterday. Try Trader Joes, fresh n easy, Vons has some good clearance stuff. Just make the trip to Sprouts every two weeks and nuy a little more to freeze. Short road trips like that can be a BLAST!

I think the OP probably means the Sprouts on Day Creek Blvd near Victoria Gardens in Rancho. Don't forget the farmer's market on Friday am at VG, near Macy's. Whenever I am down there visiting my son (on the edge of RC/Fontana), I usually shop at the farmer's markets, Sprouts, TJs, Smart and Final and 99 Ranch.

There's a new-ish Super King Market on the 10 freeway side of Claremont.

Huge, clean market for fresh produce and hard to find meats like lamb racks and whole rabbits. I make a lot of roasts and curries... that's my go-to market for roast and stew meats. Excellent produce selection--very impressive overall.

Though, not much organic stuff because of the demographics it serves (Middle-eastern, Asian, and Latino families).

Ooo, thanks, will check that out. Vons and Ralphs just don't cut it for me. For special occasions I go down to the LA Farmer's Market, but that is quite the long haul. Any good fish markets in the local area? 99 Ranch has some, but not my favorites.

The 99 Ranch in RC is OK--sort of dingy, but everything essential is there. There's a 99 Ranch in Chino Hills right off the 71 freeway. That one is much cleaner and modern, IMO.

There's also Korean market in Diamond Bar called Super H-Mart. It has a pretty good seafood section. I get stuff like whole shrimp and squids there. They are usually pretty fresh.

Super H-Mart also has a really good marinated meat section for KBBQ/grilling at home. It also has a large selection of thinly sliced meats for shabu, pan frying, etc.
