Just moved infront of cajon high from la damn straite up poverty in front of that high school man ****load of stray dogs and pitbulls walking around ****ty ass area go past northpark and it gets to tha actually "nice"area not a fake nice area its actually nice doesent make sense why i could be nice but then one street down turns into a rundown no sidewalk hood

San Bernardino has many nice areas, especially Verdemont (off of Palm Ave on the 215 freeway) and North Park (near the university). Looks a lot like Rancho Cucamonga or CHino Hills. Most people here look at the negatives and get stuck there.

Ill back you up on this. "bad" is definitely relative, i grew up around an active gang population and i have not seen that in my 5 years in SB. There are some shady parts, but for the most part stay north of the 210 and your good. Oh and try not to live too near to apartments, thats a general rule of thumb and applies to all cities however. I bought a house out here when i moved out this way for work and it has been a great experience for the most part.
