Not going past Etiwanda on the east & not going past Pomona on the west. Just within about a 15-20 mile radius from Rancho Cucamonga, how would you spend your day if you had the day off? I know, there's not much to do out here, but I'm just curious.

Maybe not in this particular order, but for me, I guess go to one of the local malls (Victoria Gardens & Ontario Mills), go to the movies at one of the few local theatres, browse the Barnes & Noble bookostore, & have a bite at one of the numerous restaurants in Rancho, such as the Yard House or Lazy Dog Cafe. If there's s good event at the Pomona Farigrounds, I'll go there OR if there's something good at the Citizen's Business Bank Arena of the Lew Family Playhouse at the Victoria Gardens, I'll go there. One thing I am pleased with is the amount & variety of restaurants in Rancho Cucamonga!

Toby Keiths bar and restaurant in Rancho near Bass Pro. Great samiches and mason jars full of cold beer.

Inland Empire has chain stores and movie theaters. That's it.

And a huge and varied selection of funky, sometimes shabby hole-in-the-wall restaurants with excellent food, but the OP prefers corporate chain dining.

Hit some thrift stores, visit local growers and dairies in Ontario (maybe buy some goat cheese from Drake Family Farms), go home for a light lunch, hit a bike trail, go home and shower, catch a movie, go to Rancho Cucamonga Brewing Company.

Ok this might be too far, but a little time spent at Hangar 24 brewery in Redlands & fine dining towards the old school part of it.
