Thanks, I figured there had to be some transit system in that area, but that's a bit pricey for those that, perhaps, have to travel into the L.A. for work everyday, $6 to the valley floor, then a $5 tap card for the day!

I would hope that most Victor Valley commuters aren't commuting all the way into LA or Orange Counties, I would think most commute to San Bernardino/Riverside/Ontario/etc.

I love Victorville. It is a wonderful place to live. I am a senior citizen there are a lot of benefits for seniors. I moved here from Chicago, the weather here is beautiful. There is so much to do in Victorville. There is no crime in my area. I moved here to get away from the weather, crime, and people in Chicago. I will be walking down the aisle with my sweetheart Rosie soon and planning on staying in Victorville forever.

Why do people hate so much. Where ever you live you live there for a reason be good people take care of your city and don't judge. We moved to Victorville in December 2008 from San Dimas I do miss it but Victorville has been good to me and my family.. Snowline Schools are great, I can afford my home and still live a good life. Bye

Should we visit Victorville? And what about Hesperia?

Best advise I can give you is, STAY IN Phoenix. Victorville has very high crime. It is full of gangs and drugs. The high desert doesn't have jobs. Most people that live in Victorville doesn't work in Victorville because Victorville doesn't have jobs. As far as weather. it is pretty much like Phoenix. Very hot in the summer (over 110) from April to Oct. Very cold in the winter. The wind blows all the time. Housing is cheap compared to L.A. but that is because no one wants to live here. The drive to LA and SD sucks. It is over two hours to get to L.A. on a good traffic day. Most of the time it takes three to four hours. Even more to SD.

I have lived in Victorville for over 20 years and hate every minute. I'm out of here in two years (retirement).
