Does anyone know of any churches in Riverside County that have a large African American community? I'm having the hardest time finding one I would like to find a Calvary Chapel, but any churches will do. I can investigate their beliefs.
Id really like to find a church in the Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Perris area. Can anyone help me? A middle-class, some what affluent type church would be ideal.

Your best bet is Moreno Valley. However, I don't know if you find one that meets your standard of "affluent".

"Affluent" churches in Southern California are usually Episcopalian and Presbyterian churches in places like Pasadena or Orange County full of established WASP families. Or, the big Mormon temples in Redlands, San Diego and Newport Beach. And, all of these "affluent" places of worship are racially mixed between WASPS and Asians, usually.

There is no black equivalent to that anywhere in Southern California that I'm aware of, not even in LA's Leimert Park area.

What your looking for really doesn't exist anywhere in Southern California that I know of. Statewide, the black population is waning and it looks to be waning even faster in Southern California.

You should think of relocating down South to a black suburb of Atlanta GA, like Decatur County, where they have big all-black mega churches filled with other suburban black people.

I agree everyone who leaves my predominately attended black church is moving east, mainly Arizona, Texas, and the South. California has become too expensive, and for some Blacks, CA has lost its golden status where jobs are not plentiful and the cost of living is just well out of anyone's reach, especially in terms of home affordablility.
