Hey everyone :-)
I am going to be an international student at CSUSB this fall, and I am very excited about it!
My parents are going to be in San Francisco between October 2nd and October 5th, so I am going to visit them at this time.
Unfortunately, I found out that it is reeeeally hard to get from CSU San Bernardino to the Ontario Airport quick and affordable, so is there anyone who could give me a ride???
My classes end at 11:50 am on Thursday the 2nd and my flight on Ontario Airport takes off at 2:35 pm, so is there anyone who can help me get to the airport on time? Either pick up right at the university or somewhere else in SB, of course I will pay for the gas and all that stuff, around 20$ for the ride, if that would be okay (?)
I am also very thankful for any other tips on how to make it on time (Cab / shuttle is too expensive, omni and metro take too long...)!
Greetings from Germany,
Kathrin :-)

Please don't do this! It's so dangerous here. If it were my kid, I wouldn't want them trusting a stranger. Take your time and take public transit. At least you know you'll get there safely. Stay safe out there!

Wait until you start classes and then ask someone in a class that you know and can trust.

NEVER GET IN A CAR WITH A STRANGER IN CA!!!

IT IS NOT SAFE HERE, ESPECIALLY IN THE AREA YOU ARE GOING FROM--GENERAL SB AREA.

And I say this trying to be nice, but getting rides from people in the US is very different from in Germany. My neighbor has has had several exchange students from Germany live with her for a year at a time and that is one of the harder concepts for them to understand.

You have a month. Save up your money, and take the Super Shuttle.
Or ask your parents for the money.

Would also suggest you not go to classes that day. That's not enough time. Get to the airport earlier.

I would definitely agree with the other posters. Do not get in a car with a stranger even if you meet them off here. It is far too dangerous and not worth the risk especially with you being a woman. Skip classes that day and take public transit early that day to ensure you get to your flight early enough. Please don't ride with a stranger.
