North Fontana looks fine and I was told it is really building up. Colton probably is not for you. All I know about Rialto is supposed to be really awful. Grand Terrace crime is getting a lot worse I am told from the new high school. I actually know a few people who have or are moving because of it so if it keeps getting worse you wont want that but right now it still isnt bad in my opinion. I really like Yucaipa. Much prettier and safer then this area. I like Claremont very much but more expensive. I moved to Loma Linda and it is really nice here. Quiet and safe and the people are very friendly. Some people rent rooms to the residents at LLU. It is not as expensive as Redlands but right next door. LA is incredibly expensive.

Isn't that the truth? That's likely my single favorite city/town in the entire I.E. (though it's really the eastern tip of L.A.) and it's not conducive to "cheap living."

Claremont is usually not considered a part of the IE.

The LA County cities at the county border (Claremont, LaVerne, Pomona) are really a part of Inland Valley or Pomona Valley.

Many businesses in those cities name themselves "Inland Valley ..." and "Pomona Valley ..." because those two labels are a thing.

While I don't, some do regard it as hovering on the edge of the I.E. It's right up the freeway from Montclair and Fontana.

Like I also pointed out, Claremont is in L.A. County, not S.B. County.

"San Bernardino has long struggled with violence, but 2016 has been one of its bloodiest years ever."

A San Bernardino family terrorized by violence was desperate to leave before it was too late:

San Bernardino is a dirty city loaded with illegal Mexicans. I avoid that city as much as possible.

I bought m y first house in San Bernardino (Del Rosa) in the '70s. At that time it was a nice, family-centered place with tree-lined streets and very calm. However, some years later it was decidedly in decline. Eventually we moved to Sacramento and I last visited the area (on business) about 25 years ago. The beautiful, mature trees which had provided lovely canopies over the streets had all been removed and the area was ruined in my estimation. The downtown was in decay and the entire area was gritty, and that's being kind. I would decidedly avoid it.

I lived in Del Rosa for 10 years prior to moving to Yucaipa.

If God decided the world needed an enema, He would surely choose San Bernardino for the point of application.
