Just to inform my community, I am a resident at Tuscany Hills in Lake Elsinore (Riverside County), yesterday a group of 3 thugs attempted to break into my home in the middle of the day! They were 3 African Americans (1 teenage girl and 2 6 + feet tall males in their 20's). The girl knocked at the door and when we didn't opened the door she called for a back up, her accomplices drove in an out of state black sedan parked on my driveway and went to my backyard through the side door. At their 3rd attempt when the glass door broke (double pane glass door) our security alarm went on and they fled! Thank God the alarm was set. The 2 AA males that broke the glass were over 6 feet tall, we took a god look at them, both of the PARASITES casually walked out of the back yard! The frustration is UNREAL! These PARASITES have no regards, no respect and are not afraid of being caught. PARASITES feeds from people HUMAN BEINGS work. Be aware if a young girl (teenager) knocks on your door and pretends to be making a phone call! She is NOT lost, that's for sure. THESE PARASITES HAVE NOTHING PRODUCTIVE IN MIND!!!!

...Yeah Lake Elsinore can be a little "rough around the edges". There are a few decent parts, but most of Lake Elsinore is old, gritty & dirty. I lived just south of you in Wildomar for most of the 2000's, and there was a fair amount of crime there too. Strangely enough, I find both cities to be rather charming for some reason.
