I have always heard Palm Springs is where people go to retire and that there are no tech jobs there. Is this true? If you know of any decent companies in the area that are engineering/tech firms, please tell me who is there. Thank you!

There are tech jobs at the casinos and hospitals, but they don't come up very often.

That would be medical and service industry jobs.

OP I'm an systems engineer, a 40 year CV home owner, and would have loved to been able to work and live here full time. There are really no engineering jobs in the valley. My office is in the South Bay of Los Angeles where there are thousands on engineering jobs.

I was trying to convey that there are (a few) system engineer/analyst jobs in the valley, but not for tech firms... Guess I didn't really get that point across..

If the links are not clickable please Google the name of the link...
P.S. I am not representing ANY commercial interests (68, retired computer exec) just being a little helpful (hopefully)
