It's hard to say who will be distressed in the near future since people are still paying in the 300s for townhouses. ??? Way overpriced. I see some more walking away in the near future. Especially since most people in the preserve bought at or near the peak.

'Craps. I loved the Woodbury model. It was perfect. You think I should wait a bit?'

I highly advise to wait until like Chuck has posted, the typical slow season passes us by. We are still in a decline no matter what the sales people may tell you. Let's wait for some stabilization probably around next year.

Default Can It Get Any Worse?

I am sitting on my hands waiting for my offer to be accepted. A short sale and the agent stating that they have a good relationship with the bank. 3 weeks and still waiting. I am so close to giving up it is not funny. I am trying to utilize the down payment assistnace program for my down payment because our lovely president Bush will shut it down on October 1st. I refuse to take just anything. don't want to miss the boat but without this program, I will have to save for the downpayment and that could take another year.

Not sure if I replied to this or not...lol. Chino Hills is better. Tell me the area and I will tell you if it's good or not. For the most part, Chino and Chino Hills is a good area. You will be happy. But, let me know by PM.
