Redlands is my fav inland city.I lived their for yrs.I live about 6 miles from Redands. The southside is VERY nice & the old victorian homes are something else. Some areas of redlands are undesirable like colton ave/orange st area.Overall Redlands is a nice city to live & raise a family but its not cheap.Summers are VERY hot/dry & smoggy & Winters are mild.

Did you find an apartment yet? I own a house in Redlands and plan on renting it within the next month. 3bd, 2 bath, 1700 sq ft, 2 car garage (on the south side)

Does Redlands still do the Redlands Bowl free concert thing? I was born and raised in Riverside but then moved to Redlands for a while. Redlands is probably my second favorite city. (A biased hometown pride for Riverside) The Barton Rd. area has pretty nice places as I recall. Downtown is cool/quaint. Hospitality Lane is seven and a half minutes away. Palm Springs, L.A., San Diego, Lake Arrowhead and the beach are all drivable distances. Vegas is a 45min flight out of Ontario. It's probably the most "California" California town. Good luck.
