Now, another question: Are Claremont, Pomona, La Verne, and San Dimas in the IE, or no? This is what I have the most dispute with.

No, I'm asking if Claremont, Pomona, La Verne, and San Dimas ARE in the IE, since they have the same area code of 909, even though they're in LA County, but just right over the LA/SB County Line.

Claremont and Pomona are iffy. They're right after Montclair, so some people include them. San Dimas and La Verne, I would say a firm no.

In a geography sense:

The northern boundary:
The San Gabriel & San Bernardino Mountains.

The western boundary:
Kellogg Hill (Pomona - San Dimas - Covina)
Chino Hills (divides San Bernardino & Orange Counties)
Santa Ana Mountains (divides Riverside & Orange Counties)

The southern boundary
The San Diego County Line (also a natural boundary with those hills with the giant boulders)

The eastern boundary
The San Gorgonio Pass (Mt San Gorgonio & Mt San Jacinto) (The Whitewater Windmill Farm)

On some maps, the Victor Valley as well as the San Bernardino Mountain communities (Big Bear - Lake Arrowhead) are include in the definition of the Inland Empire. Others include the entire county of both San Bernardino & Riverside, which I think its absurd.

Sorry to burst your bubble, Brandon, but Victorville & surrounding towns, Barstow & surrounding towns, 29 Palms & surrounding towns, have been, & will always continue to be, part of the Inland Empire, by authority of the San Bernardino Sun, and KFXM59. Amen. Oh, and don't forget the booming metropolis of Lucerne Valley. I don't guess that Baker or Needles are, but, then again...

Have another cup of meth...uh, decaf...
