When I refer to Eastern Riverside County, I'm referring to the following areas:

Blythe, Ripley, Mesa Verde, East Blythe, Desert Center, Lake Tamarisk, Eagle Mountain, Chiriaco Summit, Cactus City, Midland, Cox, Hayfield, River Bend Lodge (aka, Aha Quin), and Lost Lake.

What would these communities have going for it in the future, aside from agriculture and transportation? Your thoughts?

Any answers are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
Not much. The best is a retirement area for older people who want to stay in CA but can only afford areas like that.
