My high schooler will probably go to a charter and community college, which is what we are doing now.

If you buy a home that is west of 395 you will be zoned for Snowline, which is the best district in the area. A good realtor will know these things and be able to help, but always double check by calling schools with potential addresses.

VV is the only place we can afford to buy too, good luck!
you didnt hear this from me but if you move into the new housing track the street names dont appear on the mapquest so you can go to snowline district and just tell them you live west side of 395 but you really live on the east

MamaNana, thankyou much for the information, it's all important to us, as I said we don't know the area much, is there any difference in zip codes as far as quality in education, what zip code is the school in Hisperia you mentioned to me? There are many homes in our list that we want to look at and there are some schools near them but I have no idea what area they're in, a good area or a bad one.

J. Robb, thank you for the information, what other areas are as affordable as Victorville that you may consider are better areas? We are trying to purchase a house for about 200,000 or less if possible, single story and about 2,100 sq.ft. or more, we have found some good size ones there, at Victorville but don't know of any other areas, we're trying to stay about 1-2hrs. from Rialto/San Brdo. which is the area the rest of our family live.
We would consider any other city, if something similar is available!

Default School In Victorville

Hi there,
Have you thought about a charter school? At a charter school the parent is actually the one who grades the work, but charter schools are becoming more desirable; safe, you know what your student is doing, etc. Some charters have 6 through 12 grade.

aaronfox7, yes, I have been thinking of charter schools, we're just wondering if it's very hard to get in to those schools. And as I mentioned before, we have not yet acquired a house and don't know what area we'll end up in. Hopefully we will be able to put our children in Charter schools, sounds much safer as you mentioned. Thanks for the reply!
