Go to Old Town. Plenty of Shops & Restaurants. And than go to the Wineries. All accessible off Rancho California Rd. And if you like antiques, go to the antiques malls (Granny's antic & Granpa's Antiques) across the riverbed that runs parallel with old town.

Thanks d-1567.
I originally posted this thread on the SD forum to get comments of SD residents who visit Temecula since the SD forum is more visited and to get the perspective of the visitor versus residents, but thread was moved here by the person in charge.

Wine country has some great restaurants, also Pechanga has restaurants inside and we like the Pala buffet a lot, it not in Temecula but worth going to. You can Uber it to Pala for less than $30 from Temecula.

Don't expect to much. And don't get me wrong, I like Temecula, a bunch. I go past the wine growing area (I don't drink anyway) out East to the ranch properties and walk the dirt roads with my pup. Yes I now I'm boring.........so what.

Doffo has great wine and Callaway has great views from their winery (and decent wine, too). EAT has great food. https://eatmarketplace.com/

I hope you are looking for Mexican and American type foods because if you're like me and like Asian, you should get into a helicopter and cross over the Santa Ana mountains and head north.

How is the Asian food over there? I looked on Yelp and there seems to be a lot of Asian options but how are they compared to Asian food in Los Angeles? Also, is there a large variety Asian food? Thanks!

We really enjoyed Havana Kitchen when we were in Old Town Temecula. If you like Cuban food, check it out.
