Currently in escrow on a home in Running Springs. I’m from Southern California and familiar with the area, so I know insurance will be more expensive due to fire, but I was wondering what companies (and specific agents/offices if possible) you recommend that will write policies for homes on the mountain (especially considering most have stoves/fire place inserts). Thanks!!

Search for an insurance broker, they work with multiple carriers and can shop for the lowest rate for you.

There’s a couple (well many) Facebook groups that can give you recommendations. “Running Springers” and “you know you’re from the mountains when....” are two good ones to search through. People are always chiming in when this topic comes up. Good luck and welcome to Running Springs.
