Howdy City-Data,
Was looking over places where I could afford a home in SoCal, and Lake Arrowhead popped up on Facebook of all places... so I took a look.

Looks like a pretty spot.

But was wondering about actually living in a place like that.

Is it overrun with tourists?

How is "everyday living" in a place like that?

I see that there's just one grocery store anywhere close? Didn't notice any big box stores. I suppose that's some of it's charm...

Does everyone run down to San Bernardino, or over to Hesperia to shop on the weekends and such?

All in all, the photos... reminds me of places you'd see in the Colorado Mountains, etc. but maybe without the extreme winter snow?
