Was scanning Temecula in zillow, trying to get a feel for the areas and prices.

Visually, on a map, seems like the "middle" is about Pauba Rd. or maybe Rancho Vista Rd.?

Are there any significant differences from place to place? Places to avoid? Places that are considered "better"?

Any real differences between the areas around say Redhawk vs. say Temecu Hills?

I only mention those mostly because they are both golf-ish looking places and seem to be in budget. So feel free to enlighten me on other areas.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Almost everywhere you drop in on Google Street view looks like nicely planned areas. All looks new and well planned.

So curious what the differences are from place to place.

Temecula generally have no bad neighborhoods. While Temecula is very affordable comparing to the coastal areas, prices vary in the neighborhoods. Talk to a realtor to discuss your budgets and preferences. Lake Harveston is a nice neighborhood. Searching “Temecula neighborhoods” will give you some ideas.
