If you are living in the 'Inland Empire', why not just move to Las Vegas? It seems like the costs would be much lower, and the feel might be somewhat the same?

As for a poll, who here in the Inland Empire, likes or dislikes Vegas?

I'm an RN and the working conditions for nurses in Vegas are horrible. Patient loads are too high. California limits patient loads by law and, pays better so ... Vegas was never an option for me.

In my opinion,The Inland Empire has more advantages than living in Vegas, because of it's location.

The Inland Empire also has a greater variety of Communities, and also has access to a wider range of Job Opportunities, and access to a wider range of things to See and Do compared to Las Vegas.

Here's also an interesting fact on the population of these 2 regions.

The Inland Empire: 4,098,328
Las Vegas Metro: 2,013,267

It is not that I don't like Las Vegas that I stay in the IE. It is that my career, family, and a lot of things that I like are all here. If I did leave, it would be for San Francisco Metro area, San Diego Metro area, or Seattle Metro area.

Less Jobs and Less White Collar Jobs in Vegas, Summers and Winters especially are milder in the I.E.

I was born and Raised in Riverside, CA. I moved with my family to Las Vegas 4 years ago. Let me tell you, it is nothing like Cali. People out here are extremely rude, and there is nothing to do for young kids out here. I want to move back to Riverside very bad. Bottom line there is no comparing the 2

Vegas is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.
