And I totally agree with him that Riverside is the best city in the county. No question on that, in my mind!
I agree. Riverside wins hands down. It has a population of almost 300,000 and the city is truely and All American Town. It has residents from all income brackets, and a pretty diverse population. The schools for a city its size are good as well.

Used to live in Temecula and it is not that rural, Riverside can be beautiful but there are some ugly areas, it is nice though by the Orchards. Do not move to Hemet or Paris. Hemet is a meth pot.
Temecula Wine country is beautiful and there is an evening breeze EVERY DAY. don't remember a day with out it.
Don't know about Corona though, I don't really know the city besides the fact that it has horrific traffic in the evening on the 91 but that is not Corona's fault.
Elsinore is iffy

No one has mentioned Palm springs and Coachella Valley. Palm Springs can be beautiful in the old 50's area but that place is really expensive, like in the millions

If you're going to bad-mouth a place, at least spell it right. It's Perris.

All cities/towns/villages have their good points and bad points. Not all areas inside city limits are dens of iniquities.

Thanks agree with you too, just today found out some very intersting facts about Riverside, That there 1 out of only 6 other cities who have won Top 21 Most Intelligent Communities. Interesting reading also at www.intelligentcommunity.org learn great things about Riverside every day.
ALSO Duanes Restaurant in Riverside took 2nd place for best Restaurant in the I.E. and also MYFOXLA'S HOT SPOT PICK WAS DUANES. And of course dining at the Famous Mission Inn is always so much fun. So yes i agree Riverside is an All American Town, and wins hands down.

It would help answering your post to explain what it is in Desert Hot Springs living that prompts you to want to move. Iow, what are you looking to gain and what to loose?

Best wishes

Moreno Valley Ranch is a somewhat walkable neighborhood. It has RCC, two neighborhood centers all within walking distance. Sunnymead Ranch is somewhat walkable. I walk on the trails to get to Ralphs. Oh, Towngate is again walkalbe.

Default Where can I walk in Riverside?

For all those who've recently posted about Riverside, where are the good walkable neighborhoods? I'm considering a move to the area as well. I love the old homes in Woods Streets, but there's not a lot of walkable shopping around there. You have to go a LONG way to get to a grocery store or a decent restaurant. Where else would be a good choice?
