Is this area bad? Two of the schools looked to have good reviews, but I have always heard bad things about Fontana. Thanks!

I work just down the street from Sierra Lakes. It's not a bad community, but there are a LOT of foreclosures in there, and many more in the area (like at Citrus Heights).

Where would you be moving from?

I have a friend who lives in Citrus Heights. Very nice community. Gated. He paid 580k at the peak. Bank owned property next door listed at around 340k.

Yep. I've seen as low as $290K on a foreclosure at Citrus Heights! It didn't last long, it got bought up quickly at that price!
