Even though Palm Springs is a little depressed in the downtown area, the community itself, both gay and straight, are anything but. Most gays are couples here, more gay couples than any other city of any size,
but there is a swinging single element too. The weather is nearly perfect 9 months of the year, and there is always some fun, and usually free event, going on. In January PS is home to the 3rd most prestigious film festival in the World with over 200 films, and stars, directors, and producers galore.

Palm Springs biggest advantage is that it is a long way from Texas and Miami.

See you here soon, We Hope.

Tim

Have now bought a place in Palm Springs and yes the dowtown area is a little depressed, but so far we like the area. There seems to be quite a lot going on most of the time. The property was a great buy much lower prices than when we first looked. Electric Bills have not been as bad as we thought and Gas Bills seem very manageable. Thanks for all the help and advice.
