My family and I are thinking about moving From Kansas City, Mo to Perris Ca,. We would like to know what are the up and downs in Perris, Ca. How are the schools, and crime rate? How are the commercial, and nursing jobs there?

I have never lived in Perris, so can't give great advice on the matter, but do suggest you search for threads like this one... //www.city-data.com/forum/san-b...eople-say.html to help you get started on your research. Good luck!

Is there a reason you chose Perris ladylove? Do you have family there? Have you checked out the stats for crime, schools, etc.? You might want to do that before making a decision.

There are a few threads about Perris in this forum...just go to the top upper right of this page and type in Perris, CA in the "Search" box. That will surely give you some idea of what Perris is like. I can tell you that it is a rather small town, and I don't believe there would be much call for nurses as there isn't a major hospital there. Maybe in nursing homes?

Anyway, good luck to you!

Hey Carmac thanks for your input. We do have family there. They love it. I never heard of Perris Ca. before. Just looking for a change of pace and warm weather. I just wanted to get others input on Perris

Default We should swap places :-)

Hi Ladylove2004,

Why are you thinking of leaving MO? I actually live in SoCal, not too far to Perris and am seriously considering moving to MO. I'm tired of the CA taxes, high cost of living, and commuting about 1.5 to 2 hours to and from work.

I'll be driving to MO in a couple of weeks to check it out. My husband and I are young working professionals (with a 4 month-old baby) and our only concern (besides the culture shock), is finding jobs. I'm a project manager and he is works in IT.

Any advice in finding a job? Any recommendations in terms of cities in MO we should consider, (we were thinking Columbia or Springfield).

I guess if you're going to move to CA now is the best time to do it. Housing prices have drastically dropped.

Good luck to you and looking forward to hearing from you.
