I have a cousin who was born in Russia that lives in Sacramento and is looking to relocate to the Inland Empire area. There is a pretty large Russian community in Sacramento and I was wondering if their is any communities in the Inland Empire. I have heard that their is one in Palm Springs. Is this true?

I live in the Palm Springs area and have not seen a large Russian community, but as a competitive ballroom dancer, I see a lot of Russians because there is a large Russian dance community.

I think there would be better areas than Palm Springs. Why is she/he re-locating? The closer to a metro area, the more likely one will be to find diversified communities.

There are whole bunch of Russians here in IE (Moreno Valley, Riverside, Menifee, Temecula, Lake Elsinore). We often get together and have Russian parties. If she is interested she can either write me or find our group on russian website odnoklassniki.ru

I was born and raised Russian Molokan. Though I have for the most part since truncated my life from that heritage.

Anyway, from what I recall, there are (or at least were) a lot of Russians in the Whittier/La Habra/Downey areas as well.

OMG The Inland Empire is a metro area!!! Do some research before you post something. It is the 14th Largest metro in the USA and 25th in the Americas. Its larger than any metro in Arkansas, were you are (according to your post info).
Now to the one asking the question, Hi! There are some Russians in the Desert areas east of San Bernardino. The metro region (Riverside-San Bernardino) has a lot of diversities mainly in the downtown areas were people get together to work and also around the 2 IE large universities (Cal-State San Bernardino; UC Riverside). The IE is a great area they will love it here =)

I have seen a lot of Russians lately in Temecula. Not sure why, maybe they are tired of mainland. Spasibo.
