Hi! Just moved to the area. Does anyone have recommendations for lesbian-friendly female doctors (am looking for a general practice / family practice / internal medicine doctor) in San Berdoo/Riverside? Please no negative responses. Thanks for your help!

Can't help you on the doctor, but as a resident of the IE I'd like to say: Welcome to the Inland Empire.

Depending on your needs and how often you go to a doctor, it might be worth your while to drive the hour over to Palm Springs, where most of the doctors (as well as the patients) are gay.

Where in the world did you get this information? If it weren't so one sided it would be laughable....

Have you ever been here? We're expecting 100,000 for Gay Pride this weekend, the largest in Southern California. Palm Springs is all gay all day. Come on over!!

Default been there done that

Seriously, 10 years. Granted there is a high population of gays, and I was in the medical field. There are
gay people everywhere. Having to drive an hour to Palm Springs, though it might be a beautiful visit,
is so uneccessary.

I *am* in the medical field. Sometimes it makes all the difference in the world if you can't find a GLBT-friendly doctor in your own vicinity, knowing Palm Springs is just a few miles away. An hour's drive is nothing. Those big-city folks do it just to cross town. Time to toss you onto "ignore".

rah is our resident wannabe desert expert. He has been in the Coachella valley for a couple of years off and on. He is an expert on all areas from Thermal to Cabazon so he must live in a variety of trailer parks. So if says the entire valley is gay he "must" be right. I ignor him completely because he passes along the wrong information most of the time.
