We've stayed at hotels in Palm Desert and La Quinta such as Embassy Suites.
I wonder if renting a condo might be a better deal.....for two adults and one teenager.
It would be nice to have a kichen.

Are there dog friendly places places available ? (small dog)

I don't know anything about timeshares. Usually we go for just 2 or three days at a time.
Maybe someone has some suggestions...thanks

If you're only going to be here for 2 or 3 days, you don't want to rent a condo. Why not try one of the suite hotels like the Courtyard Marriott on Cook Street in Palm Desert? There are a lot of suite hotels here with kitchens. If you're a member of Auto Club get the Tour Guide. It will list all the amenities of each hotel.

Try Residence Inn on Cook...we've stayed there, and it's great!
