Plus, Northern San Bernardino is not bad at all. It's actually really nice with wide, tree lined streets and housing that was built before 1990. Downtown SB is not a good place, as is the Westside.

There are no jobs in California period. For that matter, most of the nation. We are in a deep recession.

Look, I understand your views on the IE, but try to be a little objective.

I've done the drive too, every other weekend for about 10 years. The rest of my family is in SD. I guess it depends on if you abide by the speed limit, or what time of day you do the drive. And come on, I'm being objective ! I KNOW San Bernardino. First hand living experience. Its NOT a place to raise kids, or raise anything.

I gave up, Nita. You probably should too.

That poster knows EVERYTHING.
Only SHE is right.
Other peoples first hand living experience is WRONG, just didn't HAPPEN.
She's being OBJECTIVE, ya know?

Pffft.

I went to Cajon High school. I know SB pretty well. My dad grew in Mission Beach and Lemon Grove. My aunt is in Santee. My cousins are in Chula Vista and El Cajon. My grandmother, before she passed, lived in Grossmont. So I know SD, pretty well.

Just by your last sentence, it's not objective. It's pretty subjective. But it really is baseless on facts, it relies only on a singular experience, and it comes from a highly biased source. That fits the criteria for being subjective. If you mentioned that Cajon High, for example, was listed as a top high school in US World Report...yet San Bernardino is statistically one of the most dangerous cities in California...that is objective. It presents an argument for and against. It gives facts and info. See the difference?

That's why I say it's subjective...not objective. You do know the difference, right?

The stats are that SB is NOT a good place to live. So I am subjective and objective.

That's an oxymoron. See that's a subjective statement, it doesn't state ALL the facts, thus biased and not objective.

Right like I'm going to state ALL the facts about why the OP shouldnt live in San Bernardino. Whatever. I don't think our arguing is answering their post.
