^^^Dude, you are wrong. Original Del Taco was First St., Barstow, & it's still there. And where was Joy Burgers? I remember Burger Haven but that was long ago.

OK, just be clear that Daggett, Lenwood, Yermo, Hinkley & Newberry Springs are not "towns"...they are just a couple of old buildings...like a old house or two, maybe one or two beat, rundown businesses. Hinkley looks like the apocalypse due to the contaminated water, which caused people to leave, the buildings were destroyed by desert weather & vandals. The only real "town" is Barstow, and it has...changed.

Enjoy!

Joy Burgers were at Captain Hooks Fish and Chips when I was a kid but I believe she might of had her own place in the 60's.
They were the best hamburgers,,,the only thing that came close was Irene's in Needles.

Dude!!!! YOU are incorrect......the first....numero uno...Del was on Hwy 91 in Yermo.....the present Burger Den. Uh....I think the Corona and 7th Street Victorville may pre-date the present 1st street store....BUT....THEE best Del is the 1st street location. I can remember the little stand on the corner......just like the Del Fried Chicken....then they built the present building with a DRIVE THRU!!!! WOOOOHOOO!!!
