i am not the casinotype, but one,two time in a year my husband wants to go to a casino and gamble, which is fine with me,because it happens rare and the amount he gambles is not that high.

we were yesterday for teh first time in Temecula.I was very dissapointed,i think,it has no class,no style...in a non smoking areas people smoked and nobody cared.I was shocked to see a baby inside the casino in the etaing area and i was very furious about it and complained pe remail today
at the management..yes it is my bussiness, when it is about a child,a helpless baby, who was exposed to such a smoke and bad environment for achild from a rednex uneducated parent. To blame is the management of the casino, because a baby has nothing lost in a casino. For such an incident a european casino would be closed.I have no understanding for such a mistake and i am not a person, who just walk near it and do not care.
A baby has nothing lost in such an environmnet and in the future they better be more carefull, they never know, who visite the casino and report it later and has a big problem with it..around 10 pm was a baby (around 9 month old i woudl say) in the casino..unbelievable!!

It was very crowdy, smoky, extremly bad air, all around a bad smell of drunk people, that made me vomite..generally the public was not taken care off,no clas,no style,no elegance..no comparation to europe, not even to north california..
for going out on weekend are high class places in temecula or do we need to drive every time to san diego...i mena a place, where educated people meet, with a better exterior and appearance in society?..ellegance,style,class,education..i do not mean casinos (although eruopean casinos have style and class),i mean select restaurants, bars or whatever..i mean not the usual place where bill joe goes on weekend to get drunk..i prefer to pay three, four time more, but be surropunded form educated people, that have the same expectations like mine, are better taken care off and so on...

thanks

It's definitely not like the commercials you see on TV with all the model-perfect people, dressed well and all smiling and happy because they just "hit it big". I don't like casinos because I hate walking through smoke. I'm not a gambler either, but occasionally I go to dances at the casinos in my area. Everybody looks like they are just down and out and gambling away their mortgage payments. Pretty sad. When I compete in Vegas, the comps are usually at a casino like MGM Grand, or the Green Valley Ranch, or one of the other large casinos. It sucks walking through a smoke-filled casino in a $4000 gown to get to the ballroom.

a baby eating in a restaurant and this bothers you? You want a classy place for gambling where people are educated and you are? I am a bit surprised at that. If you really think you want all this, go to the strip in Vegas.

a baby eating in a restaurant???????do you not get it??a restaurant in a casino...in dirty, smoky air..do you have any clue, what effcet it has on the lungs of a baby been exposed in such a smoke???after eating, while gambling baby wa son his lap,how sick is that???..get educated, before express your opinion,so you get informed what such a concentrated smoke cause in the little lungs of a baby!!

a classy place for gambling?guess what?somehting like this exist in europe...have you ever been there?or maybe north california,in this case, you would know the difference..but like the saying says:

what i do not know,i can not miss!..

and i did not wnat a classy place for gambling,my question was regarding a place to go out..evening..high class restaurant, bar and so on...i said,i go to casinos very seldom,so i am not interested in that...logic

twinkle toe..i did nto compare with commercialls,i compared with european casinos and north california..yes,i had also the feeling being surrounded from big majority alkolist and addcits, which can be the case in european casinos, but not in such a high percentage...hier in usa the public does not care,if you are drunk,if you go to store in pyjamas and so on...in europe is different appearance and the way society dgudge is different...so drunk you are thrown out form european casinos ..hier no porblem...in europe rules are respected, not broken..smokefree mean smoke free..hier people do not care, security do not care...and so on...

Do the state smoking laws even apply to Indian reservation businesses? I'm asking this of the forum in a serious matter, as I've never been to one of these Indian places.

Now, to you: Europe, Europe, Europe. You sound like a broken record. Are you like this in person, always with the comparisons to Europe? Are you aware that 99% of the Americans you'll encounter don't care how Europe does things or how much better you think it is?

Indian casinos are not subject to state laws, as they are in federal jurisdiction, so no - CA's anti-smoking law does not apply to Indian casinos.

I agree with Fontucky, I read your post on here and it seems like all you do is complain about the USA and compare it to Europe. Im not sure if you know or understand but this is not Europe and nothing is going to be the way you want it to be if you were born and raised in another country. I am sure everything in Europe isn't perfect. I find it hard to believe that people in Europe aren't drunk in public like they are here. Try and embrace the differences in our cultures instead of complaining about them.

ok, now lets compare what you are saying with the real life? Where in Europe are these so called classy casinos you have frequented so often? Are you going to tell me you are accustom to hanging out in Monte Carlo? Temecula isn't Monte Carlo in case you didn't know. I have seen casinos in Europe and maccau that are not any different than our Indian ones here.

As for smoking? I haven't been to the Indian Casinos in Temecula but have been to them throughout the country, they do have more relaxed smoking rules, but most either do not allow smoking in the restaurants or have smoking and non smoking areas.

It sounds to me like you have a bigger problem with the way people live in our country than our smoking policies.

Nita
I've been to several casinos in Germany.

I was bored out of my mind.
