What about Pearson Ford..they stand alone at Fairmont and El Cajon!
Taking the ferry to Coronado before the "bridge" was built.
When the Pads had their spring training in Yuma and they actually talked to the kids!
Surf Teams in the high schools by the beach.
When you never, ever went to Horton Plaza after dark!
Suicide Hill in South San Diego.
Jumping off the IB pier to go surfing.(Now I'm sure its not allowed!)

You pronounce La Jolla as "La Hoya", not with the "J" sound as in "La Joela"
You pronounce El Cajon as "El Cahone", not like "El Cajohn"
