Having a hard time finding a condo/apartment retal that allows larger dogs- Found petrent.net thru google and was thinking off signing up. Has anyone used the service before?

--Select “Advanced Search” and choose “Pets Allowed”
* ForRent.com
--Click on “Show Optional Search Criteria” to select “Pets allowed” option.
* Home with Pets
* Move.com
--Click on “Advanced Search” to look for pet-friendly housing
* My New Place— San Diego
--Select appropriate choice from pull-down menu under “Pets”

What kind of larger dog? Pit bull's and other aggresive breeds will be difficult. If it is a calm and well trained dog, your dr. may be able to write you a note for him to be an Emotional Therapy Animal (I have some anxiety/seasonal depression), in that case, NO public rental may deny you residence or charge you additional rent/deposits for rent. This is a well known fact, though they will not tell you that unless you furnish your doctoral note. It is a Federal law.

I've never had a problem taking my pet anywhere. to the store, on an airplane (in cabin not in a kennel) and even at hotels in Vegas. My note is gold, and my dog is apart of my family. He goes where we go.

No need to pay a fee just to view apartments. Try these people Apartment Rental and Hotel Directory accepting Dogs, Cats and Other Pets or do what SDinsider suggested.
