I am a 33 yr. old nurse and my family and I are moving to San Diego within a couple weeks from Texas. I have always wanted to live by the ocean since I was a little girl. I know the cost of living is higher but how do I find out about rental condos or houses? What are decent school districts? I can't wait to get out there, just need some help. Thank you

not familiar with Sd schools but general rule the better the more expensive the housing the better the schools. SD is one of the best places to live climate wise IMO

I actually teach @ Pacific Beach Elementary. . .it's in a good area of PB, good for your kids. I also teach @ Bayview Terrace ( by Mission Bay H. S.) lower income area, lots of mexican kids- - the kids are fun, but test scores are lower. Just know there are three large cities with pretty good schools: Austin, San Diego, and Charlotte. In the whole country, your best schools are out in the affluent white suburbs., but don't be afraid of city schools. There's excellent teaching going on all over
