Hello,

My family is considering a move to San Diego and if you could help us narrow down neighborhoods we would greatly appreciate it!. We are in our 30s and have children.
What we are looking for:

*home prices: $500-1M
*pedestrian friendly, somewhat urban (ethnic restaurants, variety of stores within walking distance, moderately busy sidewalks, but no crazy party town)
*ethnically diverse
*safe
*30 minutes or less from a safe, pretty beach
*close to a whole foods
*lots of things to do near by
*park nearby and activities for children
*private schools nearby
*bicycle friendly would be a plus.

****I also just wanted to say, consider yourself very lucky that you live in such a beautiful city. I've lived in and visited many places in the US and the world and there is nothing like San Diego. I can't wait to move there!!!

North Mission Hills in the Presidio area. Its near just about everything (Whole Foods included) and is very walkable.

FYI its not actually called N Mission Hills on a map, its the area north of Washington St/University Ave. Go up there (Its at the top of the hill) and the area is gorgeous. It's classic "old" San Diego at its best with classic architecture and tree lined streets.
Bay views are stunning and the streets remind me a lot of old Beverly Hills.
