I am moving To San Marcos in 2 weeks. Is it best to go with a cable company or a phone company for both home phone/internet? They all seem to have bundle deals for both. I don't need a cell phone. Any suggestions as to which is best to go with?

Your choices are Cox, AT&T and Time Warner. It'll depend on who serves your area. I think AT&T serves all areas, but their customer service sucks. Look on each of their websites, and put in your zip code. That will tell you what your choices are. I have Cox and have no problems, but some people hate it. I pay $77/month for high speed internet, basic cable and a home phone. My cell phone is through T-Mobile.

We don't have a home phone, and no cable, but we use Time Warner for our internet and haven't had any issues.

I have ATT for TV, Internet and Cell for $99/month + taxes.

I haven't had any troubles with them yet, but I've only been with them for 4 months now. I used to have Time Warner for cable and internet and found my internet modem would constantly reboot a few times a day. TW said it was nothing on their end, so after putting up with them for a year I switched ... no regrets .... yet ...

I lived in San Marcos for almost 2 years up until 3 weeks ago. We had Time Warner. Hated it. We kept getting interrupted service all the time.

Are you talking about Internet or Home Phone, or both? I am not interested about TV for I already have Direct TV.

I have had one no vote now against ATT and TW. That only leaves Cox, which I am sworn enemies against since the 80s. So help me out some more here everyone. I gotta go with someone for home phone and internet? DON'T FORGET TO VOTE IN THE POLL THREAD I JUST CREATED.

I thought one didn't get to choose between Time-Warner and Cox, that any specific area was covered by one or the other, not both. Am I completely off here?
