That's what I said. But there are places all around the South Bay that have it between the $3.59-$3.89 range.

Yeah.Just a five min drive if you stay going down on Broadway and make a left/right at Palomar-Orange.It would def be worth it in my book. They might drop to like $3.39 by the end of this upcoming week.

Of major brands, Arco's seem to be the cheapest on average . . . usually a good 4-10 cents cheaper than other major brands. I've seen non-affiliated stations at $3.79 in the La Mesa/El Cajon/Spring Valley/Lemon Grove areas this weekend.

The United Oil by my place which is about 100 yards off the 15 Freeway at Rancho Penasquitos Blvd. has the cheapest gas in the area. And it's right off the freeway, and usually freeway gas is expensive.

Sounds good although with me being down off J st. that drive would only be worth it if I were getting 10 dollars or more but $3.39 would be hard to beat if it gets down to that

It always strikes me as weird that if you go down the hill into Mission Valley the gas station at Texas St and Camino de la Reina (? just North of the 8, I may have the wrong cross street) is consistently ~40 cents more per gallon than at the Valero at the Texas and Madison- less than a mile away! I never understand how they can stay in business, but I see people there buying gas all the time
Thats good, because we'll be visiting that area in a few weeks.

It was even cheaper on my way home this afternoon. The Thrifty gas station on 5th & Centre city has the cheapest price without the whole cash/credit price bullcrap, but you can find if for a few cents less if you pay cash in the vicinity.

The United Oil station at I-15 and El Cajon Blvd was $3.79, and the Arco Stations at 33rd & El Cajon Blvd & El Cajon Blvd & Texas St were all $3.79 today.

I love that some people will waste an hour of their life driving around in circles to save 5 bucks on a tank of gas. Time is money, except when your time ain't worth much.
