I swear it's a conspiracy! I recently moved from Dallas, and you can get it everywhere.

I was hoping to get a 44oz drink from somewhere like 7/11, AMPM, Shell, Chevron, Mobile, any gas station?? None of them have it on tap!

I'm pretty sure I can get it at Taco Bell, but I don't want to pay $2.15 for their largest paper cup that isn't as big as the convience store plastic cups.

Anyone?

Here ya go, most have diet too. Quisnos for sure. It'd be cheaper just to get the two liter bottles and a reusable cup with lid.

Thanks but none of those are convienence stores, ... I'm pretty much stuck buying 2 liters but it's just not the same. I don't drink it all the time anyway but it's always been one of my guilty pleasures.

SUCKS, that's the first thing I've found I don't like about San Diego since I've been back. That's a pretty good trade though for perfect weather and .. oh yeah, the ocean. haha.

Even regular Mtn Dew isn't as common in SoCal, much less Diet Mtn Dew from soda berverage self service stations. You will have to settle for Taco Bell and literally suck it up...

I imagine any restaurant would be delighted to sell you a soda to go. That's one place they make a large profit.

every place I checked out actually had regular mountain dew, just not diet.

I'm cheap, Taco Bell I think is a 32oz drink for $2.15. I get my super big gulp 64oz? refilled at 7/11 for .99 cents.

Dang little 20oz bottle of dt. mtn dew at 7/11 is $1.69

God forbid I may have to start drinking ..... water.

This whole soft drink thread is pretty funny. It was only until I went into the semi mid west and ate at restaurants did everyone confirm or order soda beverages as "Coke".
Ex "can I have a Pepsi-Coke? or "Sprite-Coke".

Not kidding.

Great thread! I like to search for caffeine-free diet Mountain Dew on tap. That's one of my fountain beverage holy grails for any establishment!
