Any one with knowledge of the water tables / well access in the San Ysabel Julian area? Would appreciate any information.

What do you mean access? The water table should be higher in Santa Ysabel since its a river valley. I believe a lot of people have wells in that area though. You may want to be more conservative with your water, in the event of extreme drought.

I think the levels are different between Santa Ysabel (valley) and Julian (mountains). Julian gets a lot of rain because of the mountain.

Santa Ysabel has Lake Henshaw nearby, which wouldn't be there if the water table were too low. Also, that area supports cattle.

You can see advertisements for well drilling along side the road on the way out to these places. Don't know about the regulations governing these.
