I am selling my car until the new car I ordered arrives sometime in October (most likely). I have a second back up car, albeit an old beater car. I don't mind using it until the new car arrives, but in the case that my car craps out and I need to rent a car for 1+ month, is there anyone besides Enterprise that does this?

Enterprise rents cars long term for $660 month plus fees equals about $800 for the month. I'm curious if anyone else does it cheaper?

If you belong to Costco, you may get a better rate through them.

You're right, I can use a Costco Customer Code and get about $45 off the monthly rate. Nice

My neighbor used the above website to rent out his personal car for extra spending money.

Part of the benefit of my Chase Sapphire Reserve card is some muckety-muck status with National, and I can rent cars for like $20 a day. With a $450 annual fee, I wouldn't rush out to get one just for this, but just wanted to drop a data point.

Also, depending on the new car make you've ordered and the dealership, dealers will sometimes allow you to use one of their loaner cars for a bit until your new ordered car comes in.

Be careful to make sure there isn't a mileage charge added to that. Lower-priced rentals sometimes do that.

Who are you, and what have you done with hitman619 (who usually has more than two brain cells to rub together)?
