True because it stands for mission bay too. Though I may have used MB a couple of times on these forums because I was too lazy to type it out.

Edit: the Merge used to actually be backed up 15-20 years ago. Now the backup has actually traveled north about 5-6 miles to where the 5 starts descending before the Villa De La Valle exit.
