I assume (hope) that no one will care about race and ethnicity by 2050, so no one will track it or ask people to identify themselves.

I agree with the concept that there will not be a recovery, that we are going to be settling into a new normal for awhile where austerity will take hold. No doubt we will eventually see the gluttony of the masses again in the future because of course history always seems to repeat itself.

As for race/ethnicity not being an issue, I'm afraid I have to disagree and say that it will always be somewhat of an issue. We have come a long way but I doubt we will live in a race-blind society in 2050.
