LOL. Sorry about that. We're like little kids waiting for Christmas. We've been waiting 3 1/2 years for this. It only took us 6 mo's of living in Tennessee to know it wasn't for us. We've been here 4 years. And can't wait to finally come home.

I know your just as excited as we are. You'll be there before you know it.

We live in Mission Valley and have central A/C but rarely use it. Maybe 10-15 days total this past year. With that being said, when we get the 'streaks' of several 90 degree days in a row during late summer I'm happy that we have it. Remember that typically the hottest days here are also the driest, so we don't get that nasty, sticky heat.

I live downtown, and most people would not need air. Our neighborhood is quiet (cortez) except being pool side there is some noise occasionally. but I like it really cold to sleep so I like the air.I feel like a jerk turning it on most nights but sleep is priceless. We make up for it by never using heat. Last year we turned it on a 2-3 times for 15 min to take the chill out when we had guests.

I use it, and love it.

Had the heat going too, nice and toasty last night.

Why tolerate uncomfortable temps if you don't have to?

^^I'm with you. For years I thought I didn't need A/C, and while I only have a portable one on wheels, I'm glad I have it now.

People seem to forget that some of the heatwaves we get in late August/early Sept. can be quite humid. I will say that this past summer was fairly mild, so I didn't have to use it much.

Pool, fireplace and wood burning stove!! It doesn't have to be expensive.
