Hmm... I'm not sure. I would say north of La Jolla/Torrey Pines area, but I don't know offhand of any part of the coast which has vegetation that grows directly to the water (as in, no beach). Very pretty though!

I was thinking maybe somewhere in North SD county.

When you hover over the picture, it says Trinidad Coast, which is in Humboldt County near Eureka.

I was gonna say, that looks like Nor Cal. Large rocks a few hundred yards off the coast are commonplace in Nor Cal (north of SF).

Its a gorgeous area, although I am not entirely certain where it is specifically. But its, definitely not San Diego. I have taken photos all up and down this coast and there is nowhere in San Diego that has a beach that backs up straight up onto dense forest like that.

San Diego either has sandy beaches (La Jolla Shores, Silver Strand SB etc) or a tall cliffs and cobble stone terrain (Torrey Pines, Encinitas etc)

I agree with djxpress, this is Northern California, north of SF heading towards Eureka. Beautiful up there.

It's Trinidad State Park in Humboldt County. If you Google it, a similar picture is shown.
