Anyone moved to San Diego with a good experience ? Did you have a job when you arrived? If not what did you do to find a job. What kind of employment did you get? Iam looking for people that stayed and never look back.

We moved here b/c my spouse got a job here. It was a very nice career move for him. Relocation was almost entirely paid for. For me it took forever to get a job. In some ways I was over educated and qualified for the jobs advertised but in the end under qualified b/c I do not speak Spanish with fluency (I have 3 years HS and 2 semesters in college, but if you do not use it, you lose it). One plus year later, we are in a great place (esp with I am now employed) have no regrets. With that said there is no way in heck we would have moved out here on savings with no job. Good luck to those folks, but I like my saving account and retirement fund.
