the problem is not lowering your standards. the problem is that you won't find anything. only lowering your standards is telling me you don't want to put in any effort and would be glad with **** (and I smell an unhappy relationship or marriage). put in effort and you will find someone you like either here or somewhere else.

you have really painted yourself as an exemplary gentleman on this thread that a most feminine lady would be thrilled to be courted by.

I wonder what people think of me when I go to restaurants alone. I mean, I'm in a 6 1/2 year long relationship where we both also have our own lives and actually enjoy spending some time alone instead of being joined at the hip. Yes, even on weekends. And do people assume when a bunch of girls are together that must not have significant others? Because my girlfriends (most of whom are attached) and I like to go have meals and stuff pretty often.

They probably just came from doing something together like playing frisbee golf or working on someone's truck or something and decided to have lunch. I'd feel worse for them for eating at Carl's Jr.

Heh. I seriously have avoided even looking at this thread because of folks like that. I only had to glance at the last few pages before I knew I was gonna lose my faith in humanity if I read the whole thing

but your story is the same everywhere not just SD.

Unfortunately a lot of the guys here don't know how they are coming across and its not attractive.

But typically yes if you are just looking to 'score' it will be with someone who has lower self esteem and hopefully didn't think you actually liked them...

[/b]But yeah, the college girls are looking for guys their own age.[b/]
Sometimes yes Sometimes no!
I can remember even in my single days, I always have female around me when I went out.

You Don't have to settle, that's a individual Choice. Growing up and Living in San Diego most my life, that's the choice I had made because I know how tough competition is here. I Lived in New York and parts of Louisiana and I can tell you, San Diego is a very hard place to meet and score quality Chicks.
I can remember this one time, after me and this chick did the deed, she was looking though my closet for something to wear of mine. She Mentioned," Where is you porn collection every guy I know has one" I remember telling her, "As long as it's girl like you I don't need them'
She returned my phone call Again

I Can remember in college having this chicks come by our apartment.

Probably the same thinking I was thinking. I would have been wrong about you.
Right or wrong, it was just my observation!

I posted this before, but every single man struggling to score in San Diego needs to watch the movie, "Tao of Steve"

if you want to be treated right, then don't be posting things that you don't know about. you posting that somehow, just because some man from the US can go along to TJ and find a girl like nothing shows how little you know of Mexicans (I am ethnically Mexican and both of my parents are Mexican). this would apply to anybody who is either male or female.

don't expect me to give you a free pass just because you are a chick. that only works with anglos, not with hispanic males.

Yeah I've been to Gato. It's pretty cool. I haven't ate their main platters, but I definitely ate their bar appetizers, cocktails, & desserts. The bar appetizers that I liked are the lamb tenderloin w/salsa verde, ricotta w/mushrooms & toasted hazelnuts, & 11 potato layers. Cocktails I liked are the French w/cognac & gin to my favorite & Ventura w/berries & currant. I didn't like the Jimmie w/vodka, grapefruit, & lemon to be too sour. Not a big fan to have cocktails mixed with asparagus, cucumber, or tomato. There goes my typical constructive & direct EC mindset. LOL! The desserts I liked are the fruit tarts & gelatos.

I know what you mean about celebrity chef restaurants to be overrated such as its extreme high prices & small proportions.

Yeah text me about the various sections of Manhattan to transform itself as chic & hip.

Sorry,

I wasn't able to reply you back on this SD blog b/c of my broken foot to be irritated at times. Hopefully it will heal soon; therefore, I can be mobile once again to go out, socialize, travel, & work. I just been bedridden & I order my food to be delivered.

MAN OH MAN!

You have hit it right on the spot. How the Cali Culture is like for grown ass single men, who don't have any type of professions to act in such manner. LMFAO! Although I did travel across the US to find it there as well, BUT NOT TO THE EXTENT AS IN CA. Since CA is suppose to be the largest US economy & 8th largest in the world to have major metropolitan centers: LA & SF. Sadly, both CA cities lack the depth to find reasonable amount of intellectual & quality natives.

It's funny how a few of my HS classmates from SoCal, who try to find me on FB. They wanted to add me as part of their FB friends. I declined, but I observed on their FB profiles by what I expected them to be pretentious & shallow. Glad they didn't mail me a HS reunion invitation. If I was invited? I could see them to drive rental luxury vehicles; hence, they could try to impress everybody at the reunion ball. LOL!
