Yes, but Santa Monica and Brentwood are mostly single women, though. L.A is so unpredictable and a true wildcard!

It could be feast or famine. L.A is very unpredictables! Recommendation: go to wildlife animal rescue or just climb on Griffin hills above Hollywood. Find some attractive hot former Hollywood celebs/chics, if that's what you like. They can be nice.
But San Diego also has really good looking guys right?

The problem with LA is that the most beautiful women are simply there to date celebrities. These models in LA are not dating regular dudes. You're competing with legit athletes and celebrities there. Plus it's not like a place like Kansas, where if you're beautiful you're just beautiful. In LA, you're hot you are most likely going to be a model or something like that.

A top commenter's thought mirror mine:

"They have listed just about every city I would never want to live in.. I guess this must have something to do with many of the men in these cities residing in prison leaving a lot of single baby mommas being forced to live on welfare and keep their own kids from becoming hardened criminals."

And #3 on that list, Washington DC, is full of Pantsuit wearers.

BeachStudent - you might want to consider Sacramento. I hear the ratios are good there and it's not feminist/progressive outside of a few of our wonderful elected politicians (/sarc). AND it's substantially cheaper than LA/SF/SD while still having good weather overall.
Yeah I read about that too. Those are basically cities with a large number of African Americans (DC included) and they typically have lower rates of marriage.

What I'd really like is a chart that breaks down the number of white women under 30 living in each city, yes I prefer to date within my own ethnicity.

Thanks for the idea about Sacramento. I actually have a lot of family near there now. I actually haven't considered Sacramento as an option and it's the only California metro I haven't lived in.

That has to be sarcasm. Those areas are very male heavy. L.A. is easily worse than the Bay Area, which is no picnic either. Choosing between LA and the Bay Area for a hetero male is like choosing between Syria and Somalia.

Nope: you'd be surprise that little ole you can have them. Just wait a year or 2 when they break up with those jerk athletes, rockstars, motorcross bikers and celebrities, they would date you or become your good friend or girlfriend. No fantasy here since I had several opportunities myself.

You can never got in ManJose or ManDiego, and when they become single after breaking up with their former lovers, the pitch is over 100 miles an hour. In other words, if you don't hook up with them right away when they become single and wait several months, they would be engaged or even married by the time you see them again.

I would really like to hear from the women living in San Diego if this man diego reputation is in fact true and if there are actually that many opportunities to date.

The entire west is bad except for Sac, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, El Paso, and possibly Laredo - this has been the case since the days of the cowboys.
