Hello!

My family and I will be relocating to San Diego in the near future. My son will be starting the 10th grade in the fall and I would like to know which is the better school between Mt.Carmel and San Pasqual? My son is very active in football, track, and choir. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated!

My vote would be Mt Carmel only because it's in Poway Unified School District (PUSD), which is known for being an overall excellent school system. That's not to say San Pasqual is a poor choice; I just don't know anything about them good or otherwise.

I'm curious, though. How are those your two choices? The schools are relatively close to one another, but there are several other high schools in between as well, most being PUSD schools (Poway High, Rancho Bernardo High, etc). All are fine schools as well, and this is coming from a RB High grad (Class of '00).

Mike

I'm have to decide between two different apartment complexes and those are the schools I was told the kids go to.

I'd agree with Mt. Carmel being a better choice of HS.
