Well, maybe.

I've always thought Romney is a strange guy and this just adds fuel to the fire.

What kind of an ass moves into a neighborhood and then starts asking people, hey, you wouldn't mind if I block your view of the ocean with the out of code expansion I have planned, would you?

Seriously? You don't think that people who paid millions for their house might want to keep that ocean view they paid for? A little consideration for your neighbors, buddy!

Default La Jolla is creators of NIMBY

Politics aside, the mostly wealthy people of La Jolla do not want any traffic, any Secret Service, any visitors, etc... in the neighborhood. They have intentionally made parking nearly impossible so people in surrounding communities need to use other beaches. It's a beautiful place--but the people are not exactly welcoming and and many are downright snooty.

this was funny (most of it) and in some ways disturbing ( big houses, big families, big churches...GACK) but I could not stop laughing about him harassing the guy minding his own business and enjoying a J on the beach. The librarians -who this guy probably hopes to capture by his anti govt' rhetoric would even have fits on this. It made me think of the vintage Gomer Pyle "citizens arrest!!!" video. lol

When driving from RP to our van mechanic in Encinitas, we typically avoid the freeways because it's often after work - late rush hour. Our GPS *never* *never* sends us through Rancho Santa Fe, until we're already there.

Now, for a while Rancho Santa Fe streets were blocked off. And when the relevant construction was finished, RSF tried and lost to have the main road through RSF continue to be blocked off.

Now that it's opened for at least a couple of years, our GPS *still* doesn't know that's the no-brainer most efficient way through??? I think not. I think RSF somehow paid off the GPS people to avoid routing traffic through RSF.

I like to make fun of conspiracy theories. Until I find myself in one that affects me ... and I'm now having fun of making fun of my GPS Conspiracy Theory

Romney would also "abolish" the marriages which affect all of his gay neighbors. Odd? You betcha. As stated in the article the gay pride flag flies high in the trees as his SS detail approaches.

Welcome to SoCal Mittens. Now go home.
