We were driving back home in amazement at how these microclimates are.
Yeah, I went running down in the Marina District this morning around 10ish; Point Loma had a CRAZY cloud bank hanging over the whole peninsula.

It's suppose to warm up this weekend and really heat up by Sunday. 90's at the coast and over 100 inland.

From the National Weather Service at 9pm:

THE MAIN WEATHER CONCERN FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS THOUGH WILL BE
WITH THE DEVELOPING HEATWAVE OVER SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. A VERY
STRONG RIDGE HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL BUILD OVER SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
LATE THIS WEEKEND AND EARLY NEXT WEEK...WITH VERY HOT AND DRY
CONDITIONS DEVELOPING FOR SUNDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY. THE HOTTEST
DAYS WILL LIKELY BE MONDAY AND TUESDAY...AS TEMPERATURES IN THE
INLAND VALLEYS SOAR BETWEEN 103 AND 110 DEGREES.
THE BEACHES WILL
ALSO SEE SOME HOT WEATHER...AS WEAK OFFSHORE FLOW REACHES THE COAST
ESPECIALLY ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY. OVERNIGHT TEMPERATURES WILL ALSO
STAY QUITE WARM...RANGING 10 TO 20 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. NEEDLESS
TO SAY...THE VERY HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS WILL ALSO COMBINE WITH THE
WEAK OFFSHORE FLOW TO ELEVATE FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS.

It is to be the hottest on Tuesday. Egad, here we go again with the heat and humidity from that storm. There is even a chance of rain.
