Otherwise, the Mission has the premier pancakes and french toast.
Brian's in Hillcrest closed due to a legal dispute with one of the owners, and he sold his share of the restaurant. The remaining owner will be reopening it again in North Park on the old site of Johnny R's on El Cajon Blvd next to the Chicken Pie Shop.

The restaurant's name will be "Lil B's," and I'm waiting for their opening date. I expect long lines and a wait to get in.

I agree Broken Yolk has great food and also great service. The new location that Shmoov is referring to above is always very busy. We had lunch there yesterday and there was a line and wait to get seated and the restaurant is quite large.

Great food there...

Does anybody have any suggestions for breakfast along highway 101 corridor in Del Mar, Encinitas, Solana Beach, and Cardiff?

I ride my bike (motor) with friends up the coast and we are always looking for good b-fast.

I'll put the above mentioned suggestions to test next time out and let you know. We generally ride from La Jolla to O'side so anything along the corridor is fair game. Coffee shops, cigar joints,..etc
