I'm glad to hear about Northgate. They have a lot of fresh veggies for a great price and that is typically an issue with urban grocers. I wonder how this one will compare to the others. I really like the one SE of town, but am less impressed with the newer one off University.

I highly recommend Kobeys Swap Meet, near I-8 and I-5 in Point Loma. It's next to the Sports Arena.

They are open Fri, Sat and Sun from 7am - 3pm.

There are lots of produce vendors who have great prices.

Plus it's the largest swap meet / flea market in San Diego.
